1. Who we are

Biblim (biblim.com) is a web app with original, anime-inspired vertical comics, created with the help of artificial intelligence, that retell Bible stories for Christian families.

Biblim is operated by Reinaldo Teixeira, an individual based in Brazil (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using Biblim you agree to these Terms of use, our Privacy policy and our Content policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Biblim is a proof of concept (beta). Stories, features and prices may change, be added or be removed as the service evolves.

3. Who can use Biblim and your account

Accounts must be created by an adult aged 18 or over, such as a parent or legal guardian. Children should not create their own accounts.

Signing in is optional and uses either a Google account or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping your Google account and your email access secure, and for activity on your Biblim account.

Your account is personal: you and the children in your family may use it under your supervision, but it may not be shared with, lent or sold to anyone else.

4. Children

Our content is designed for children aged 7 to 12, who should read with, or under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians decide what is right for each child and oversee their use of the service.

5. Free content and paid access

Some episodes of each story may be free to read, and the number of free episodes may vary. The other episodes of every story are unlocked with the Biblim monthly subscription (currently US$ 4.99 per month, or R$ 9,99 per month in the Portuguese version), which renews automatically every month until you cancel. You need to sign in with a Google account to subscribe.

The price, what is included and the terms of the offer are always shown before you buy. Once your purchase is complete, you get access to the corresponding digital content to read on Biblim, under the terms shown in the offer.

You can cancel your subscription at any time under Profile → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep access until then and are not charged again.

6. Payments, withdrawal and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card details directly. Biblim never stores card numbers. The monthly subscription costs US$ 4.99 per month (R$ 9,99 per month in the Portuguese version), is charged when you subscribe and renews automatically every month. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal, under Profile → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

For purchases made online, you may cancel within 7 (seven) days of purchase, as provided by Article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (CDC). Just request a refund at contact.biblim@gmail.com and the amount paid will be refunded in full.

If a price changes, the new price applies only to new purchases or renewals. Periods and content you have already paid for are not affected.

7. Intellectual property and license

The scripts, texts, illustrations, characters, layout and the Biblim brand belong to Biblim's operator or are used with permission. The Bible narratives themselves belong to no one; what is ours is the original way we retell and illustrate them.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license to read the content on Biblim with your family. Sharing links is welcome. Copying, redistributing, reselling or using the content commercially requires our prior written permission.

8. Rules of use

When using Biblim, you agree not to:

• try to bypass paid-content locks or the payment system;
• copy content automatically (scraping, bots) or download it in bulk;
• redistribute, publish or sell paid content;
• share your account with people outside your family;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service;
• remove authorship notices or use the service for unlawful or offensive purposes.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, especially in cases of fraud, abuse or security risk, without affecting your rights as a consumer.

You can stop using Biblim at any time and ask us to delete your account at contact.biblim@gmail.com.

10. Beta service and liability

During the proof-of-concept (beta) phase, Biblim is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep everything running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or an error-free service, and the service may change or pause.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and significant changes will be announced on the site. If you keep using Biblim afterwards, you accept the new version.

12. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute about them will be handled by the courts of the consumer's place of residence, as provided by Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.
